Our trainers specialize in safety precautions, math, measuring length, width, height, square footage, linear footage, and depth. They also teach how to use basic and intermediate hand and power tools, high-quality installation methods, and best practices and procedures.
In this course, you will learn how to identify problem-solving techniques by using critical thinking, process data into digital systems, ensure quality assurance, and develop the team-building skills needed to work with others. OSHA standards and guidelines are incorporated into this course to ensure you are certified upon completion.
Our organization is community and minority-based. Individuals have the opportunity to gain certifications and find productive employment or pursue entrepreneurship in the construction industry. Our 16-week interactive courses are designed to keep the class engaged so that they can retain the important information needed to become successful in the construction industry.
The program offers a 16-week curriculum to equip students with the skills & certification for the construction industry. The first eight weeks include classroom instruction on Orientation and Safety, Basic Math, Personal Relationship Skills, and OSHA training. The following eight weeks focus on hands-on experience with tools and materials, including training in framing, drywall installation, painting techniques, and trim work, along with the option to obtain R.R.P. certification in painting.
